agora // is a word I connected to years ago — a gathering place, a site of exchange. Something in it matched the way I feel when I draw: open, ancient, communal, and just outside language. The name stayed with me, and became the home of my work.
I draw without planning. It begins with a scribble and then something reveals itself. I follow the channel. I trust it. I never studied art — and I’m not chasing anything. I’m simply honoring what continues to show up.
The work holds dualities: chaos and control, childlike wonder and ancient memory, masculine and feminine. They’re transmissions, not decorations.
I was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Jamaican parents — raised with rhythm, resilience, and reverence. The rest lives in the work.
I offer these as they arrived — with presence, not explanation.
This space is for what cannot be spoken — only traced.
